Newbie Mac Question here... I thought I heard that WarCraft III used open GL, hence a lot of the Mac video performance issues with the program are related to this. I thought I heard that the new version of Panther 10.3.2 improves open GL, True? Anybody noticed any performance bumps in WC3?

Also, if anybody can point me in the direction of gathering some resources/info to do the OS upgrade would be appreciated. For example, I noticed on one of the other threads, everyone was 'repairing permissions' prior to installation. Still looking into this before installation. I am a little hesitant to just let the installation rip w/o backing up and knowing what I am doing. 22 days and counting on a Mac.

    Thanks in advance,
    Lame

it's hard to say, because the war 3 patch was released at the same time as 10.3.2. And since the patch is buggy and causes unit non-responsiveness, no, I haven't seen any gains in performance. But I'm blaming the patch, not 10.3.2.
