    hi im running a C2D 2.33 MBP
i downloaded the delta 10.4.9 update .dmg from my pc cause the software update kept failing to download,

the disk image mounted without a hitch and the updater ran,
i dont know if the updater finished or not but suddenly the screen turned soft blue (like when you restart) with that spinning wheel at the bottom, i thought it was restarting, but almost an hour passed and it didnt restart, just kept spinning that damn wheel

so i restarted manually via the power button, now its stuck on the gray screen w/ the apple logo and the wheel everytime i start..

i can boot windows normally, and i ran disk utility via install disc to repair the drive but it didnt need any repairing, did the pram also didnt help

    i cant boot into osx
    any tips?

Try Safe Mode by holding SHIFT at startup. If that doesn't work, then maybe an Archive & Install is in order. Did you have anything plugged into the machine when you rant the updater? :)
