It makes sense.
I agree. It does.
I hope it goes live today.
It's available via App Store for me on Retina.
Woot! Downloading now, hoping for Retina performance boost.
It doesn't boost the perfomance at all. Mine's just as laggy as before the update.
Time to install!
Huh, I saw a few reports that there was improvement. At least mine wasn't very laggy to start. I'll know in a few more minutes though.
Downloading as i type =)
Updating iPhone 4; 4S ; iPads ; and rMBP !!!!
My ISP must be thinking WTF!!
I'm not really seeing any difference. Oh well, like I said mine doesn't sound as bad as some others do so I'm still happy.
One thing they have fixed is when you have more than one full screen app open and you go from one app to the other, there is no more delay before you can actually do anything. I'm very pleased with this.
This is nice. Haven't noticed a lot yet, but after reading that you are correct it seems to be much quicker. I was starting to get upset with fullscreen safari cause of the lag switching
Anyone know how to activate Facebook on the new mountain lion update?
Go into settings and then Mail, Contacts & Calendars, there should be an option for Facebook.
