This is really genius. They put it on sale and it rockets into the top 5/10 and then after the sale it takes a little while for it to move back down but people who are interested because it's now got the exposure of being in the top 10 now buy the full prices version.

As the Guinness guys would say - Brilliant!

Bought this and to this point am happy I only paid $0.99. It's not a bad game, but to this point I don't see it being worth more than maybe $3 in the app store.

*EDIT* The game isn't extremely stimulating and action packed, but it seems like it is a pretty long game. Good for people who like puzzles and hidden pictures. I'd say it's worth $5 or so based on the longevity.

I'd like to try it, but it's currently failing to purchase -- it shows up at $0.99 in the store, but if I try to buy it, I first get the prompt that I cannot use my shopping cart with the App Store (normal), and then when I click to proceed and buy it instantly, I get another message saying the app availability has changed.

This item is being modified and is unavailable at this time.

It's the 1st of October here - maybe I missed it?

Couldn't find it in an iTunes search, but it's in the top Paid Apps on the right.

(And where did my See All Free Apps button on the left of the app store go? I hope it comes back! Checking that every few days, sorted by recent, has been very useful.)

I picked it up. At a pinch it's probably just worth the £0.59 I paid for it, but certainly no more. Very repetitive and pretty dull

yeah, pretty dull, 99 cents is about what it's worth.
