I think that "Powder Room Player""Big in Japan""Song Thong""Lock and Download""Touch That Dial" are Odd, The rest I think are cool. The Toilet one Might be cool, but weird.

Odd products are always the best.

Especially not one at 700 "MGhz".

I think the gloves are pretty cool. Overpriced, but useful. Actually, I think the last three are pretty good. The iPod lacks a lock slot, so there's the next best thing (why you can't take it with you I don't know... maybe to keep it safe while swimming?) The others... not so much.

Hey, I actually have the sticky pad thing. It actually works amazingly well considering it doesn't use an adhesive. I have never been able to get anything to slide on it by driving (and I have tried ;) )

Ok, this is one of the oddest accessories ive ever seen. Its also expensive! I was over at my friends house looking @ his car, and i noticed this egg shaped thingie in the window. I asked what it was, and he flipped it open. It had 3 panels (like a flower) and it was a frappin SOLAR POWERED ipod charger. He paid like 150 for it. I thought it was rediculous considering he could have bought the car charger for significantly less. Heres what it looks like.

Yeah, I thought that was pretty cool. I need a new wallet, and being able to carry my iPod nano in my wallet would be nice. I don't keep my wallet in my back pocket, so I'm not too worried about sitting on it and breaking it.

edit: there IS a stever jobs. i think it is the guy that pronounces jaguar wrongly. he says "jag-wire" instead of |?jag?wär|.

now the question is, where is steve jobs?

i guess you forgot to consider, that with that thing, you could also charge the iPod AND helping our environment stay healthy, by not driving around JUST to charge an iPod, no?

Considering the total energy involved in producing, marketing and shipping the thing is far greater than the energy it will ever generate for the iPod I don´t think it will ever help the environment in any way.

I´d love a similar solution for my PowerBook, though, as my car is not always nearby ;)

He got ripped off then, 'cause its list price is $90, and I've seen it for $75. :p

I too would like to see something like that for my iBook instead of my iPod.

You're right about the energy balance too. This thing appears to have roughly 1 W output power while your typical car engine is about a few hundred kW. You wouldn't notice the extra draw.

lol believe me, solar ipod chargers wont make one bit of difference in how healthy this planet is. Most of my houses electricity comes from the thousands of wind turbines we have out here in cali. if noty a wind turbine, its from a water turbine. The only reason i know this is because my ma is a developer for the california energy commission. She and the rest of the develpers say that hydrogen vehicles will most likley be the biggest thing in our future, atleast according to their research.

Ok, so this isn't really an iPod accessory, but it looks like an iPod so does that count?

I saw this at Walmart yesterday, it looked rediculous so i took a picture!
