Well happy veterns day to all.

The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.

I was active duty and am now reserve, but my best buddy in the navy died of cancer on veterns day '99, and it is all I think of this time of year.

Remember a vet, say thanks, buy him or her a cup of "joe" and be thankful for their sacrafice.

    Thank you for your sacrifice!

My 19 yr old nephew is currently serving as a Marine, and I'm as proud as can be of him.

    I just looked it up:

I guess November 11th 1918 is the recognized date when WWI ended, known as Armistice Day...changed to Veterans Day after WWII

Thank you for remembering this great day. My Maternal Grandfather fought in WW I. Happy Veteran's day to all my fellow Veteran's. This day is in there honor for the freedom that we have.
