13" MBA: Worth upgrading from 2012 to 2013?

What would be the advantages of a 12" model over the 13"??

A little lighter compared to the 13" model. Not that 13" model is heavy by any means. We will just have to wait and see.

Why not just get an 11" MBA if that's what you want? Actually the screen size of the current model is 11.6", not much different than 12".

I went from a 13" 2011 MBA to an 11" 2013 MBA and am very happy.

^^^^Yes, the current 11" model is wonderfully light, small and portable. Rumors that the expected 12" model will have the same dimensions when closed. Som larger screen, same weight and form factor as current 11" model. Who wouldn't like that?

Don't retina screens require more power? Would that mean a bigger (heavier) battery or shorter run time? I wouldn't like that trade-off.
