I came across these two deals after rebate at MacConnection/PCConnection and I'm posting them for anyone who needs a router, or anyone who would like a "backup."

I am just posting this as a public service. :) These are not affiliate links or anything like that *I* benefit from. :p I gain nothing from posting this, well, other than knowing I may provide someone with a great deal or two. :)

I helped a friend order the 802.11b and his rebate was processed successfully. So he got it for free. :)

pc/macconnection is usually pretty efficient with rebates, but you have to make sure to use the correct form.

For one of my purchases, the rebate form I downloaded from their site on the day of purchase had a checksum error (Acrobat couldn't open it), so I downloaded it again the next day, and got a slightly different form. My purchase was on the last day of the month and the new form covered the new month -- the same form with a different date range in the fine print, which I didn't notice. I had to phone them to get it straightened out. So, lesson learned: download any rebate forms at time of purchase.

Yes, it's great advice, too. Consumers can get some great deals with rebates, but you have to make sure you do it right and make sure your forms match your purchase, etc.
