1st question: is there a way to redefine my default browser?

2nd question: is there a way to redefine what safari considers "safe" files? because safari only has the option to open files after downloading that are on thier "safe" list..

1. Safari preferences (**) -> General -> Default Web browser

2. Just don't let Safari open anything... ;)

** Some other browsers also has this option...
