It's not as good as a stand alone display. Both the 20" Cinema and 20" Widescreen Dell will significantly outperform it.

What does significantly outperform mean? Seriously?

I've heard people say its not quite as good at the Cinema display, but the ones I've seen in the store still look excellent.

I have both a 20" iMac and a 20" Dell Widescreen. It's like night and day. The Dell is so much brighter. And Plus the dell has a composite and s-video inputs.

Aren't they all actually the same panel? I read somewhere that LG is the only manufacturer of 20" Widescreen LCD panels.

I've taken apart my iMac 20" reva, and it did indeed have the LG-Philips LCD, made in Korea.
