    Hello,

Just got a 2012 13" Macbook Air loaded from the apple store and used migration assistant to transfer from my old Macbook Pro. Afterwards I noticed safesleep had been installed and I'm worried it changed my pm settings such that I won't get the extreme standby time of the air (switching to standby after an hour of sleep). Could someone please run pmset -g on a 2012 in both battery and AC mode, and paste in the default settings for me to compare?

I reset PRAM+SMC and pmset -g shows the following, just want to confirm thats the same as someone who hasn't messed with it :)

    katmeefs-Macbook-Air:Library katmeef$ pmset -g
    Active Profiles:
    Battery Power -1*
    AC Power -1
    Currently in use:
    standbydelay 4200
    standby 0
    halfdim 1
    panicrestart 157680000
    hibernatefile /var/vm/sleepimage
    disksleep 10
    sleep 10
    hibernatemode 0
    ttyskeepawake 1
    displaysleep 2
    acwake 0
    lidwake 1
    katmeefs-Macbook-Air:Library katmeef$

    **connected power

    katmeefs-Macbook-Air:Library katmeef$ pmset -g

    womp 1

    networkoversleep 0
    disksleep 10

    *update*
    Hi,

Think I've got the defaults back by deleting /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.PowerManagement.plist (following advice at https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2422000?start=0&tstart=0 ) and rebooting, am now seeing standby mode at 1:

    katmeefs-Macbook-Air:Library katmeef$ pmset -g
    Active Profiles:
    Battery Power 1*
    AC Power 2
    Currently in use:
    standbydelay 4200
    standby 1
    halfdim 1
    panicrestart 157680000
    hibernatefile /var/vm/sleepimage
    disksleep 10
    sleep 10
    hibernatemode 3
    ttyskeepawake 1
    displaysleep 2
    acwake 0
    lidwake 1
    katmeefs-Macbook-Air:Library katmeef$

    **connected power

    katmeefs-Macbook-Air:Library katmeef$ pmset -g
    Active Profiles:
    Battery Power 1
    AC Power 2*
    Currently in use:
    standbydelay 4200
    standby 1
    womp 1
