Hi

I have been waiting years to be able to buy a MacBook and wanted to know whether you think £900 is good price for a 2015 Retina MacBook Pro 13" (8Gb Ram/128Gb storage)? I think it is still listed at £1250 on the Apple UK site.

My other option is the 11" MacBook Air that is being sold off or the 13" version.

I like having the option of the retina screen.

Thanks in advance.

It depends on where the £900.00 purchase is from.

• are they reputable with at least 14 day no quibble open box and used RETURNS policy

• is the Warrantee still in place with apple if so how long is it for (I bought from JLP they give automatic 2 year and had a 'special' making it 3 year) Also if the company is bricks and mortor JLP will price match.

• Is it a business purchase? if yes check they are VAT registered just ask for their number. This also tells you if they are a small new company or not.

Price is important but you want to cover eventualities with your purchase too.
You've been waiting years - kudos - you want the purchase to be 100% hassle free.

Hope this helps

Hi

If its a well known UK high street name and you have a John Lewis nearby I would 100% get a price match and benefit from their 30 day No Quibble returns.

Plus they have the FREE 3 year cover at the moment (that I got):

http://www.johnlewis.com/apple-macb...lash-storage-13-3-/p1911264#tabinfo-spcl-offr

Store checker:
http://www.johnlewis.com/our-shops

Phone number for price match:
0345 604 9049

Price match exclusions etc
https://www.johnlewis.com/never-knowingly-undersold

I bought my rMBP 13" last summer from John Lewis, could not be happier a year on.

ps
JLP wont price match Costco as they are a "discount club"
