So, I was playing geometry wars yesterday (while listening to music off my connected iPod) and got a game invite to play some Halo 2 with a friend of mine. So I open the disc tray, drop Halo 2 in there it boots as usual. Little did I realize that the music kept playing! So I guess persistant music appears to work with backward compatible XBOX 1 games as well! I tried this with two other XBOX 1 games and it works fine.

The only problem of course being you can't access the music controls when you hit the guide button, but the remote works just fine for that :D Seems like a glitch to me, but I don't mind it. AFAIK, persistant music was only supposed to work for 360 items. :D

Am I the only one this is working for?

Rad! I knew it worked with geometry wars, didn't know it worked with back compat games.

And yet, the most disturbing thing is that the first song/game combo I would want to try is Ninja Gaiden Black and "Gay Bar" by Electric Six. It would be both rediculous and awesome at the same time.
