So now that Apple is going Intel, is Maya going to have to be emulated through Rosseta, thus slowing its performance down? Will it ever run natively on Intel Macs?

As for 3D Studio Max, will Autodesk ever put it on the Mac? If not, what about running it through Virtual PC? Has anyone tried this? Is the performance any good? Or what's the possibility of running Windows on an Intel Mac to use 3D Max?

Or should I just get a PC?

I suspect that Maya will eventually run native but not until after the Powermacs have been switched to intel

but I doubt that Autodesk will ever release 3D Studio Max for Mac

They'd be wiser to release CAD first.
