That's why I find it so odd that I ordered 7 minutes later, but got a week earlier delivery window for the same watch ordered in the same country.

Some thoughts on my train ride home from the Apple Store.

I just got out of the Philly Apple Store; I tried on every combination I could with the exception of the Edition, of course. I'm honestly glad I went with the Space Grey; it looks great in the 42 even with my tiny wrist.

The stainless looked pretty decent too but when you have other watches specifically for appearing more affluent than you actually are...it's hard to pick SS over the neat looking Space Grey.

I tried on the black sport space grey first since that's the one I ordered and I'm glad I did. The fit was great. I wear a suunto core for my everyday watch which is obviously larger so the 42 felt tiny after I took the suunto off in the store. The 38 would be way to small for my liking.

The demo models were cool to play with, I was worried the watch would be too small to accurately select apps with a high tendency to miss press. That wasn't the case at all, it was surprisingly easy to select different apps. Scrolling with the crown was really smooth too..it felt like a quality design regardless of the random issues ppl are claiming.

I will most likely order the black leather magnetic fancy pants strap once the shipping times go back to "normal". It was nice in person, not cheap looking at all.

I went with the 42 SG Black Sport - 10min 51 past preorder - set for May 13-27. Not charged, Still processing.

Crap. I got charged, but BoA declined the charge and froze my card. I paid in the Apple Store App with Apple Pay. I called and sorted it out. The charge says pending now in my BoA account, but my order still says Processing. Hope this doesn't screw me up.

This is good intel for me. Thanks for describing the difference in these pieces. Also... I'm going to miss having my Suunto Core on every day. I'll still get to put it on when I go to the field!
