I did a quick search on here, as I'm sure somebody must have asked this already, but couldn't find anything...

With the 5gen now out, is there anywhere I can pick up a 4gen for cheap?

I'm guessing there will be a window of low cost 4gen pods, before they go back up to full price after everybody gets tired of the scritchy-scratchy screens on the 5gen.....:)

John Lewis had 20GB ones at £179 rather than £209 and 60GB ones at £249.
No idea how much stock they have left - the website is out but the stores might still have a few.

Cool. Are Apple doing reconditioned Ipods?

I guess they'll come with a new battery, so you won't be losing much...

I want to sell my silver 6gb mini if you're interested. :)

You might find some good deals on eBay.

Yeah, but the problem with buying off ebay is the battery could be goosed...

I'd rather buy new or reconditioned, where I know the battery will be new...

Can somebody please post me a link to the apple refurb site...?

THanks, but I already have a 4gig silver mini. I'm thinking of going up to 20g or above for transferring work...

bestbuy.com is having a sale on the 20 and 60 gig ipods. I ordered one insted of the new ones because they (the previous generation) are way better.
