$6 Apple Leather Case Alternative

Really digging this case also. $8.95 shipped. Similar leather to the one in the first post but this has total coverage-no open bottom like the Apple leather case. The fit is really nice. There is no reason why Apple could not produce this case except for the fact they do not want to prevent damage and broken screens.

Is it a "hard" case? Do you think the phone would pop out if you dropped it?
I can see that part by the headphone jack breaking/ripping over time. It was a known issue with the iPhone 5/5s leather cases, which may be one of the reasons Apple decided to go with an open bottom case.

It's semi rigid. I don't think it would pop out but anything is possible.
As for the headphone jack, yes, that is the smallest material cross section so it's a weak point. I don't see it breaking unless you take the case off often. Again for $8, it's not bad.
It actually fits the 6s plus ?
What about the camera hole almost hitting the lens ? Like the first case in this thread
got my midnight blue case in today. i really like the feel. it's softer than the saddle brown apple leather case shown next to it. only gripe is the vibrate switch cutout. it doesn't have that much of a lip to where you can lay your phone down flat. my glass protector is too thick apparently.

FYI, don't buy the silicone knockoff in this listing: http://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/191688619812. The quality is so bad. I wouldn't even use it for $8. The one on the right is the real one.

I don't see midnight blue on the site originally shown here, i need to find it- looks great for the price. Any idea if the dye will rub off on the phone?
I ordered a black leather one from OP, hopefully it's here soon. From the pics I think I'll be satisfied with it
And count me as one that is happy that they don't.
I love that it is open at the bottom. I never have a problem docking it anymore. (Compared to the 5S version)
The last thing I would use (or expect) the Apple leather case for is drop protection.
I felt the same way until I dropped my phone and the screen cracked right on the exposed area.

I'm in the same boat, ordered on the 2nd too and still no case, oh well it is coming from China. I only expected it sooner because some on here got theirs pretty fast lol. Wish I had looked for a us seller but now I guess I'll just wait…
Just got the 2 I ordered from US seller. Not a fan of them.
1. It's a tight squeeze made my glass sp pop up some.
2. Cut better for an iPhone 6 not the 6s.
3. I know that the leather Apple case works perfect with my ice max so I will getting those, which therefore won't result in my sp getting lifted up

Thanks for the info! I see these are listed as being just for the iPhone 6- will these fit well on the 6s, with enough of a lip around the front to protect the screen if laid down screen-first?
