I'm selling a 9800 Pro for Mac on eBay and I got a question from a potential bidder asking

"Does this card suport pivoting on Samsung LCD monitors?"

I think he means portait-landscape pivoting. I really wouldn't know. Is the pivoting controlled by the monitor or the graphics card?

Neither - it's controlled by software. Samsung should provide that software with the display, or have it available for download on their website.

The Radeon 9800 should be compatible with any pivot software.

And actually it's the ATI utility that allows for this. It's a free download from ATI's website.

Many displays use their own software though, and that can cause conflicts with the ATI Catalyst drivers.
