I need to create well, I'll just show you the storyboard idea.

I need to make it look like the liquid is flowing into the tin and revealing the new label... I don't know how to do it so it looks dynamic - so it sloshes about a bit etc.

Any good tutorials anyone knows of? Or sites that may be of help? I think it should be using a mask but I'm not too sure really.

    Cheers!

    - Yup. Best way that I can think of, is to frame by frame draw the liquid moving from A to B- make it a movie symbol... then place it.. and using a mask, control where it pours and when it starts and stops... - as for the filling of new logo, i would use a mask too.. I think that I would just use a static image of the new label... then using a mask layer of this.. use the paint brush tool on something like bright green.. and keyframe by keyframe- dab the mask layer on the label to reveal it from the bottom up. Lock the mask layer so that you can preview it.. and watch the label appear to be filling/replacing the other. - This isnt the best example of the technique.. but I used a frame by frame brush to review a pencil sketch, to make it appear like it was being sketched right then/there:

    Hope that helps!

use lots of layers, masks and lots of imagination. The last time I did some flowing water loader, I had to use some pretty heavy masking and layering to achieve the effect. Better yet, combine it using actionscript to animate.
