I (and I'm sure many others) have a few questions about iCloud and what exactly it does. These questions were either not specifically mentioned in the Keynote or were explained ambiguously.

    • I have an iBook G4 that obviously doesn't run Lion. Will I not be able to use iCloud at all on it? Someone on here said you could use icloud.com, but will it have similar functionality?
    • Will iCloud stream content or actually download it to your iDevices? From what I understood in the Keynote, you could download the content to your devices and it would utilize the remote storage on your device. However, users on here keep mentioning streaming and not needing remote storage, something I do not explicitly recall in the Keynote.
    • Do you have to physically send items to iCloud, or does it send everything automatically? i.e. if I snap a photo will it end up on everything or do I send it myself?

    Thank you! :)

    iCloud does not do streaming.

Photos are uploaded automatically, as ate backups, tho you can initial those manually anytime if you like.
