I'm looking for a small notepad application to act as an extended clipboard. I'm getting tired of all these junk clips on my desktop, and want to organize it all somewhere easy.

To put me in heaven, maybe this program could have a hotkey, something pops up, copy/paste whatever in it, hotkey again to hide. Mmmmm.

    Stickies Dashboard Widget? :p

just kidding, but it could work....

i'm trying out an app called xPad right now, seems nice.
there is Progress from Jumsoft as well that might work.

edit: and if you're really going for an extended clipboard, look into iClip.

Not so much an app but a Widget – iClip Lite might be worth a look.

How about just the regular Mac stickies app, Highlight Text, CMD-Shift-Y to create a new sticky, CMD-H to hide
