Didn't he think of using the little button on the front which releases the clips and opens the screen? This is why i hate buying second hand, some idiot like this would crack it open and then let it fall on the ground.

I worry some times. Is this guy right in the head?

Sacrilege! How dare he drop a new MBP like that!

Or is he trying to demonstrate that the magsafe connector hasn't stopped him from damaging a lappy with the power cord?

Ya he is a bit of a <insert insult here>. The whole point of the mag safe connector is that the laptop isn't pulled off the desk if (or when in the reviewers case...) you trip over the wire. If he wants to break his laptop all the power to him. I just hope apple don't honour the warranty after seeing that any damage is more than likely user inflicted.

It's bad enough that he dropped it the way he did, but it didn't even land on the carpeted floor. If you listen you can hear it hit something. My guess is that it hit the leg of the chair and didn't fall straight onto the floor, which would be even worse for it. I wonder if he dented it...I expect it'll break and then he'll complain about Apple's build quality.

What person in their right mind would risk a 2000 dollar piece of equipment to get a rise out of people they don't even know on a forum? Probably the same type of person who'd do something so idiotic as dropping a macbook in the first place :)

I tripped over my powercord once and the powerbook fell right off the bed on to a hardwood floor. got quite a few dents in the thing. hopefully i won't have to worry about that w/ my new MBP :)

I watched that video like 25 times. I was perplexed. I guess Apple need to develop a chord that prvents brain damage so that people wont drop their Notebooks:p

Ok, I can't stop laughing at this guy either... Why not set the laptop down and pull the plug out?!?! There IS a better way!

And I think in his review he said "the first thing you'll notice" about 7 times or something. Somebody tell him there can only be one first thing that you notice!

How the heck can the keyboard backlighting be the "first thing you notice" unless you open it up in the dark?!

Or maybe they should put a warning on it.

the magsafe did it's job of protecting the cable while allowing the expensive laptop to fall

the guy is a retard -

or you could just push the button - how do you even think to open without pushing the button, doofus

At first, I thought this had to be a joke, alá the Mac Mini review. I now believe this person is a complete simpleton that should not be entrusted with a MacBook.
