Damn, did that say $860 dollars for the top bid? Not bad for some stuffed animals. I could put that towards a nice Delta Unisaw....

Sheer brillance. I would like to mee that guy and shake his hand.

The funniest thing ive seen on ebay was probably a sock full of quarters. Aparently there was about 4 bucks worth of misc change in there and it sold for close to $20.

Makes you wonder why two people with such apparent contempt for each other's pastimes and interests ever got married in the first place, doesn't it? (you kind of get the feeling she didn't appreciate his appetite for tools any more than he understood her Beanie Baby obsession).

I'm sure that (God forbid) I ever split with my wife, she would have a field day selling all my "stupid crap in the basement."

The best line in the whole auction: "I don't think my ex-wife was in the Black Market Beanie Trade..but then again, I didn't know she was having an affair either! Thus no gauruntees!"

That is sad, it is always terrible when adultry occurs. I hope that he is successful with his auction. My only experience with Beanie Babies is our local WGBH auction. A small group of them like 3 - 4 would go for up to $300.

    This guy is THE MAN.

I hope if I ever go through a divorce I can have his sense of humor.

i love how the font gets bigger and bigger and BIGGER as it goes on... normally annoying but adds to the comedy here. i really can't stand beanie babies, or people that have affairs, so more power to him :)
