I listened to the interview on suprnova.org and its really hard to listen to. The woman asking the questions seems really bored and as though she doesn't care and shes cheewing on gum, rather loudly. The man also has a very strong accent.

oh yeah and one more thing.

THIS ISN'T EVEN BEING DEVELOPED FOR MAC!!

or at least that's what the man said.

Well when it's officially available, everyone can email them and ask for a Mac version - I'm sure they'll break down and do it eventually. After all, it's worked for everything else :D

Trying to combat a cultural thing like this with brute force is useless. Hollywood, if they try hard enough will transform the piracy scene into a very slippery, strong, cunning resistance that will rise twice as strong every time they are put down.

If Hollywood are keen on reducing piracy, they should spend this sort of money on researching its causes and address the issue in a proactive way. They are thinking far too conventionally.

This software sounds like LimeWire with its ad bars. :p

Still does not have encryption, I know it will be a tad slow however it is encrypted. :)

Why is the article titled "A New Hope for BitTorrent" when it says that it's not BitTorrent, it's an entirely new network? And I hope, when they do break down and create a Mac version, that it has a drastically more attractive interface. Maybe I'm just a snob, but even if the only problem with an app is it's got an ugly icon, there all of a sudden "not enough room in my dock for it". You know what I mean? I'M TALKING TO YOU, COREL PAINTER IX.
