A couple of months ago my cousins PC was about to die on him so I took my MBP to help him back up all his data, after using my MBP and and getting frustrated with his PC my cousin is ready to switch.

He is going to Miami in december and is planning to buy the machine there. The thing is that he has to bring it back on the plane with him, and asked me if he could borrow him my pelican case. The question is this: can you deattach the stand on the iMac 17"? because that is the only way it can fit in the case.

    thanx

No, not on the 17", not without above-and-beyond surgery. Sorry!

They say that iLugger fits requirements for carry on luggage.

The bag is 18.5 x 5.5 x 20.5 inches. Within the dimensions of airline carry on luggage.
