    Hi all.
Just sitting here feeling a tad introspective and spiritual.

So. So so you are face-to-face with God and you can ask Him one question and get a definitive answer. What would your question be?

FWIW, my question would be "Does time really exist?"

Hmmm, well if God were on MacRumors, I'd be curious to know why she didn't have an avatar yet...;)

Seriously though, if there were a Supreme Being I could communicate with, (whether God or Allah or YHWH or whatever name you wish) I would want to know why humans have so misunderstood the SB's message that people are willing to kill each other over their differing interpretations of the SB's intentions for humankind.

I had a bunch of funny questions that I was tempted to put, but when I really thought about it, it became really easy.

You know how hard I try to show them, so how can I make sure that my wife, parents, sisters, and kids (how many are we going to have?) always know how much I love them and that I only want the best for them?

I think my follow up would be "How and why?" and I would let him answer however he wanted...

    "So, why 42?"

Not to hi-jack. but how could it not? Even before man give it a name and started counting "it," there was still a certain amount of it that passed between two events. It still took a certain amount of "it" for the planet to go around the sun, for a seed to germinate, etc.

No big deal, but it's high physics and it's something that preoccupies me. Not being critical, but you may well be mistaken for thinking that there is a finite amount of time that can be measured between two events. It would still remain my question the the Supreme Being.

    Just ordered it.

As if my sense of reality wasn't already fragile enough...thanks a lot :p

You make a very good point. Changes a great deal, and now that I think about it..I might have to change my original question lol

Mine wouldn't be a question but more of a statement:

"Well, I guess I was wrong."

    Or even:

"Who do you think played a better "you" in the movies: Alanis Morissette, Morgan Freeman or George Burns?"

It's humor. Joan Osborne wrote a song called What If God Was One Of Us and Alanis Morissette played the part of God in some movie ;)
