In Snow Leopard, if I dropped 2 or more attachments onto the Mail icon, Mail created an email ready for me to fill in and added the two attachments to it.

In Lion, it's now creating two emails with one attachment apiece and I can't see how or if I can switch this off.

Any guru got any thoughts?

[Edit:] And while we're at it, why on earth when software is set to automatically reopen documents does it open the last saved document on top of the one I've just asked it to open? Is that not, y'know, silly?

Adey,

I just tried what you mentioned and I got one new message with three attachments in it. I'm a noob to this stuff and, afaik, I'm just running the basic, default settings on Mail and Lion. Perhaps there's something you've changed that causes it to open multiple messages instead of just one.

I'll have a look through, but for the life of me I can't find where the setting is.

Wood for the trees probably.
