Anyone know of a good, free AAC to MP3 converter for Win 7?

My iPod died a few years ago and im stuck using an ancient 512MB :)eek:) MP3 player to listen to Podcasts with - unfortunately 2 of my Podcasts have moved to AAC and my old payer can't handle them.

    Many thanks.

iTunes can do it. Just go to the import settings, change the type to mp3. Right click on the AAC and choose convert selection to mp3.

There Podcats that i've downloaded via Itunes that i can't play.

If you right click a file it gives you the option of creating an AAC version of an MP3 file, but i can't do it in reverse.

    Update.

Found a converter - still a bit fidly but works.

Thats why you need to change the import settings in iTunes to mp3. Its in the general tab in the preferences.
