I received an Abas zippered folio cover to review for my blog. The post went up today with lots of photos. I have only found one mention of this company on here, which surprises me. They offer beautifully made covers and in a variety of colors (don't worry they have black too) and some really unique styles. Love this cover!

I forgot to mention, if you check out the Neiman Marcus site. They have more designs exclusively made for them.

Does the case cover the ambient light sensor?

Yes, I believe it does. So if that's important to you then it might not be the right fit. I will mention it to them, as I think some are not even aware of this iPad feature. I wasn't, I only know because it came up in another forum. For me it is a non issue but I know that is not so for others. I also really like how it protects the corners of my iPad, that is more important to me.

They do have some beautiful sleeves as well.

I found these by Abas on the NM site, which offers the option to personalize with your monagram and from the image will give access to the AL censor. Also I'm pretty sure a cut out for the home button was added. The pus were probably of a prototype.

Such a great cover, I'm surprised there have not been more comments?

Glad to see something little different. Looks nice, just not my color :) I'll check out their site.

Why keep bumping your thread? People are not interested. Thanks

Apparently, from the comment above yours, that is not the case. Oh and FYI, your first signature link does not work. Didn't check the rest, cause I'm not interested. Thanks.

    :D

Regarding the case, it looks nice. But, I don't think I would like the zipper, and it doesn't seem to have any sort of stand for typing. Also, I don't plan on keeping any business cards or papers in my iPad case, so that feature is useless to me.

I'm very happy with my Marware Eco-Vue case.

The photos on your blog are excellent, by the way.

Nice. Zipper, no magnets. It looks very compact, and pink would match my stylus ( :p it was the only colour they brought out from the sekrit Apple Store stash). But the price is about three or four times out of my range for just a basic case. I guess I'm sticking with my slightly-altered Fossil Kindle case for now, which is pretty much the same, except a little bit too tall and it has the word "Read" embossed on the front. It has an inner pouch that would serve just as well for carrying the iPad. On the other hand, the Abas case is compact and would be even nicer if OP is right about actual case having more cut outs.

It never occurred to me to want a stand for typing, but this seems to be an important feature of a case for so many people. What am I missing? Am I ergonomically uncivilised? I can't figure out how I'd use a stand while typing

It's really helpful when your iPad is sitting on a desk or table in front of you. Having the back elevated a few inches just creates a nice angle for both viewing and typing.

That IS a really nice case. I like the pocket inside the case. Very elegant.
