Well as I couldn't get a pre-order I guess I'll either be chancing they'll have some non-pre reserved stock at Union Square or will be queuing outside the O2 store again this year (as I've done the last 2 years).

    Anyone else?

Not looking very busy is it? I'll be getting off a train from London at 17:37 and heading straight to Union Square to collect my reserved iPhone 4 :D

I'm hoping that being Aberdeen a few people who reserved will maybe get stuck offshore (as i'm an Air traffic Controller i'll see what I can arrange ;) ) so that there's some left over stock I can get on the 25th!

But seriously..... Probably going to be the O2 store on Union St, anyone else going to be there?

Just heard from a friend who works at the Union Sq Apple store and they've confirmed they will have "some" stock for people who didn't reserve, now I'm wondering whether to go to O2 or Apple.

Dave, which O2 store are you going to?

Was anybody there for the iPad launch? If you were, how busy were the lines?

I kinda want a PAYG iPhone 4, are contracts and PAYG available at the apple store?

I was 5th in line at the iPad launch, got there at 0545, it was quite busy for most of the day apparently, I don't know if they ran out of stock or not though.

They didn't run out of stock for the iPad launch and there were 70ish in the queue at opening. I think they will have around 100 handsets so as long as your there by 8 you should be fine. I will be there at 7 just incase as I was out the country and couldn't pre order :(

was queuing in the reserved line from 7.30, out the store by 9.45.

Don't think they will have enough to cover all the people in the walk in line as it was nearly 100+ when I left.
