Quick question... on the initial user account (the one that is setup automatically with the computer) does mac osx create another "user folder" besides the "home" folder for all your files?

HOME FOLDER has desktop, library, documents, music, pictures etc.

this OTHER FOLDER has the same contains.

Also, my HOME folder doesnt have a "Movies folder" anyway I can get that back?

The initial account should have everything you need. By default, there is also a Shared folder but no other account is made by default. Does one show up in System Preferences? Have you enabled the root user?

You should be able to create a folder named Movies in your Home folder if yours has gone missing in Finder. If it is merely missing from the sidebar, then drag it back in from the appropriate Home folder. :)
