I new this would all catch up to me. I've been using the iOS 7 betas on my iPhone 5 and iPad 3 since July without a developer account. I had to manually update my iPhone 5 to the GM release of iOS 7, which caused no problems. Today, I tried to install the official release of iOS 7 onto my iPad manually, but iTunes wouldn't allow me to. It said something about an incompatibility. I got this error when I first install iOS 7 onto my iPhone, and I had to restore the phone to allow iOS 7 to install. I decided to do the same with my iPad, but now in both iTunes and on my iPad, it gives me an activation error (as it is not tied to a developer account), which means I cannot do anything with the device. iTunes will not recognize it (so I can't restore to a pre-iOS 7 version) and my iPad won't make it past activation. What can I do to bypass this?
