So.. now I need to make some add buttons that would add a row of data in a table view.

How exactly do add buttons work? Does it add a row with an Insert editing style, then wait for someone to click it? Does it make the last row in the table have an insert editing style, but disabling the ability of that row to be deleted? What functions do I need to implement?

I can program the functions themselves, but I do not know where to start, since I do not have an iPhone and I do not know how its software acts.

Take a look at the SQLite sample...

The SQLite sample adds a Book of data and never really adds a row..

I want the button that starts editing mode and then allows you to add a row using the insert editing style. Many books/tutorials/sources just briefly go over this topic and never go into detail about how to customize the edit button.

I know that there are many people that know how to do this and have read this topic, but ignore answering because they think the question is too obvious or are tired of questions. I am patient and persistent. While I wait for an answer, I will also try to figure it out by myself. If I figure it out, I will post how I did it in the case that someone else needs the information as well.
