    Cool - thanks for the heads up.

    These BR USB drives will be popular - especially if you're using an ugly PC and want to hide it somewhere and just run this out to the shelf.

    So, would this drive work on a MacMini running Snow Leopard? I looked at the specs and the only OS they list is Windows (7/XP/Vista).

    But SL still won't support BluRay DVD playback. :rolleyes:

    True, but I was looking at it just to rip BD disc not play them. So....would it play nice with SL?

    Could this be added to play Blu-rays thru an AppleTV USB port with patchstick or aTV Flash USB enabled?

    Yes, you can use MakeMKV to rip BluRay disc in SL.

    You can also run Bootcamp to use PowerDVD in Windows 7 for playing BluRay.
