Adium/AIM/iChat problem

    2 days ago i started being unable to connect to the AIM service through any client. My internet is working fine and I am still able to connect through AIM Express. I really have no clue what is going on.


    im on a 12 inch iBook connected wirelessly to a netgear router and SBC DSL.

    I tried connecting my iBook by wire to the router and still no luck. All of the other computers on the network are not having a problem connecting to AIM. This includes an eMac and a Compaq laptop...all wirelessly. Given this, im fairly certain there is a problem on my end.

    Here are the messages the various apps give:
    AIM - the connection could not be completed because it timed out.
    iChat - the connection could not be completed because it timed out. try again.
    Adium - Disconnected.

    Hmm. Zapped PRAM and repaired permissions just to see and after 2 days adium works.
