Adium gone wild?

    Why has Adium created a ton of things like this:

    friendscreenname.plist?

    I don't have logging on. I know iChat doesn't create those... at least I don't think it does.

    I think .plist at the end of an file means perefernces. It's where the pereferences are saved so if you delete the program and then install it again your pereferences are still there. Hope i'm right.

    Those files are in a folder called ByObject, correct?

    That's where Adium stores information like when the that contact was last available, and what alias you have set for them.
