Adium Skin (transparent) suggestions ? ?

    Well, to add the feeling of transparency, you can add the wallpaper you are using as a backdrop for the chat window, but I don't think you can get it to look completely like that (i.e., you will still have a menu bar on your window).

    Hi, thanks, its just using the settings within adium...
    aqualicious with opacity down

    shame about the chat windows though, the menu bar is pretty ugly too, guess ill keep playing :)

    Just use this Adium Xtra and turn the opacity of the message window on.

    My adium looks very similar, just that mine is ultra super über tiny.

    Adium is a great program. I love being able to change the contacts list (and much more) to whatever I want.

    thanks diatribe, ive installed that but i'm still none-the-wiser on how to turn opacity on for chat windows :s

    Go to color after you turn on the custom background setting and use the opacity slider. :)

    thanks, thats cool, heres hoping for a nice semi-transparent menu bar in the future
