I'm looking to buy a new computer. So, I was wondering how well After effects/CS2/flash runs on a macbook? Should I be concerned about the graphic card in the macbook? glossy screen?etc

I just really dig the keyboard, the portablity, and blackness..

i would be using CS2 regularly, and occasionally handle flash and AE.
any people out that can help please do...

The video card's 3-D capability (or lack of it) means little or nothing to 2-D graphic applications like the CS2 suite and Flash. Some video rendering and animation programs do leverage the video card, and I don't know whether AE does or not, but other than 3-D games and 3-D rendering, just forget about the video card as a factor.

Get 2GB of RAM. Since they're not universal apps yet - they use Rosetta and take up a lot of RAM. Beware, those apps will run pretty slowly until the universal versions are released, so I might hold out on buying a Macbook if you absolutely need to use those applications at full speed.

AE is pretty slow on my 1.83 Ghz Core Duo MacBook Pro with 2 GB RAM. I would wait until Adobe releases the Production Bundle in June. It will be all native Apps on the Intel Mac, but it wont run on any PowerPC Macs. By then there should be a pretty good deal on a 2.33 Ghz MacBook Pro.
