Anyone been able to successfully run After Effects CS6 on the first beta of OS X Mavericks?

No, I have the same problem as you. Just a strait up crash.

Same error here. Reinstall didn't helped.

Adobe will release Photoshop CC on Monday. It is possible that all other apps will be updated as well.

It is quite likely that any fix will require Adobe to implement updates to the application.

Just remember, this is a Developer Preview, not an end user release.

Jesus. What a bunch of entitled spoiled BRATS in that thread. I'd say they sound like children, but my 6 year old daughter is already smarter than they are and she can't even type yet.

As stated in the thread that thomaskc linked to, an update will be released by the time the new OS is released.

Thanks Todd, looking forward to it. :)

I am utterly ashamed at how some people are. People need to get over themselves and understand that they are running PREVIEW software that is designed for developers to test on. Sure, Mavericks is running MILES better than Mountain Lion ever did, but it doesn't mean that you can just go ahead and make it your main production machine.

If stuff isn't working, don't assume that developers are going to make a fix for it when it's probably going to conflict with something else in a future beta.

The gist is that updates to address the crash are planned to be released by the time the OS is released.

important notes about the After Effects CC (12.0.1) update for Mac OSX v10.9:

Be sure that you are signed in and have activated the software—i.e., ensure that you are not running After Effects in free trial mode. The update will not work if you are running the application in trial mode.

This update is only available as a manual download (not through the Creative Cloud automatic update mechanism) to prevent users on versions of Mac OS X other than v10.9 (Mavericks) from installing it unnecessarily.
