Aspyr newsletters release info on MacSoft games? :)

Last I heard was October from a German site. Can the person who said November post a link?

At this point I'm really hoping they release it as a gold release with the expansion...

Right now I'm trying to understand how to play Hearts of Iron 2: Doomsday.

    Friggin' complicated game.

My personal favorite source for most mac game info...

    www.insidemacgames.com

I have found their reviews to be pretty good - but games are like wine - some people just love the screw cap type, others the cork type - and some a box type... so one review never fits all...

but the gossip and update info is also beneficial

AOEIII to run on Mini and macbook?

To the beta testers: will the AOE III run on Mac Minis or Macbooks with integrated Intel Graphics? I have run AOE III on boot camp (XP) on an intel Mini. The result is generally smooth, but if there is a huge battle or any naval warfare, it starts to lag badly. Wonder if this will be fixed in AOE III for mac

somehow I never like ages of empire. I tried AoE 2, but the point about everyone nations have almost the same troops just does not appeal to me. If only MS game department have more creativity....

Is the expansion pack included by any chance?

Also, when does the beta end? That should give us some idea of when it comes out. Also, how buggy is it?

The early ages have similar troops but as you progress and then upgrade technologies and get the unique troops to civilaztions it becomes a very engrossing game. Its almost rock paper scissors as everybody has something to counter everybody else. To get the best experience from aoe in my experience has been to turn off the 'complete tech tree' and force everybody to use their civilation to its strentghs. i thought aoe2 andits expansion the conquerors was very balanced and very fair and i played until i put bootcamp on my 2footer just for aoe3 and it runs far superior to anything i have seen on a pc. the new aspect of homecities is really fun and changes your tactics quite a bit if you use it effectively

On a barely related note, does anybody know if it is possible to still get the original AOE? I had a PC version when I had a PC, but I've since gotten rid of both.

    I miss that game.

About a year ago, I found some site that allowed me download for free Caesar II (originally released in '96 or something). I was hoping somebody would know something like that. I cannot easily get to any of the stores that you mention.
