Age of Empires III Ejecting

    Whenever i put in my AOE 3 dvd in my dual g5 powermac, it doesnt mount the disk and then it ejects. It works fine on my macbook.

    Any ideas?

    Have you cleaned your G5's superdrive lately?

    no, but it reads DVDs and CDs fine. just not the game.

    :confused: last time a CD did that to me I simply copied it and problem solved. Don't know if it would help in your case though.

    tried it. the copied DVD works on the macbook, but not the G5

    Well, it beats not ejecting. Apple still have one of my WoW CD's somewhere. It wasn't even mine, it was a friends.

    To be fair to them, they bought me a new copy of WoW :D
