I was getting tired of iChat and decided to download AIM... I realize it sucks, and yes I'm aware of Adium, but for now I'l trying AIM cuz its more convenient w/ my windows buddys (all of them). So to personalize things.. where can I download smileys for AIM for mac?

I'm curious what the issues are with your windows buddies? iChat and Adium do fine in conversations with any friends I have - windows or Mac.

I don't like adium or iChat either. AIM works best for me and I think it is the cleanest and simplest program. They just need to update it a little bit.

    Wow

I'm shocked you guys like AIM better than iChat...

But if it works better than go nuts...

I can always connect to my AIM windows buddies with my iSight, and do video/audio chats/file transfer ect... with iChat.

Perhaps because iChat and Adium are so easy to use, and plays well with others. :)

So I'm under the impression there are no AIM compatible smileys for mac, correct? If so I'd find that odd since it's been 2 years since the last update of AIM for mac... and yet there are no extra smileys. :(

I think it is more likely that no one knows because very few people use the AIM client. Google is your friend. Good luck.

The world will be a much better place when AOL closes shop. Shouldn't be too long now as they really have nothing to offer.

Apple should buy their AIM and get rid of their bloatware.

Just remember don't do an AOL search or else it will be posted on the net for everyone to see ;)
