Magellan sells a generic unit that will work with any 110-120v/50-60hz device. This is another dongle.

Getting 2 batts might be a better choice.

The EmPower in-flight power system is not on every aircraft, and not available in all classes. JAL and some other airlines have looked at everything from free "generic" loaner batts to haveing AC plugs and travle adapters for peoples computers. I just don't think that there is a universal standard, but there is a more common standard.

LIND makes an adapter I purchased with my 17" through the Apple Store. It was listed under accessories.
