Wow, makes buying one more tempting now. Wonder if no gigabit ethernet is a typo?

Definitely not a typo, spent ages looking at the information pages.

I would love to buy this and keep my external drives out of sight (and sound) but alas i am a student so cant afford it (spent £70 last year on a g router with an internal adsl modem)

you know what this is for: backing up your mac via time machine.

i am sure this is why they added this, how many laptop users would remember to plug in a hdd regularly, but with this, as soon as you join the network, time machine keeps the hdd synced.

brilliant! and best of all, now that I switched my mom, all mac related purchases that can be used by both of us or help me do the design are business expenses, and are free. wmmk's household, get ready for your TB 802.11n network drive!:)
