airport

    hey there im wondering if i will be able to use airport extreme for internet use and airport express for wirless speakers at the same time? ibook g4

    I haven't done it, but I don't see why you wouldn't be able to.

    Yep, but they have to be connected to the same network. They do this through WDS and it's really quite easy to set up. :)

    by saying "they have to be conected to the same network" you meen both conected to my ibook? cause thats what i want. and whats wds? im waiting to find out if and how this is all possible befour i buy the express (already have the extreme)

    Using WDS will ensure the base stations are on the same network. Basically this means that you will have one larger network rather than two smaller and unrelated networks. This will definitely allow you to use AirTunes from one AirPort and the internet form another. I have the same set up except with two Expresses instead of an Express and an Extreme. :)
