Very cool, but if 007 had one, it would also light his lady's cigarette....:D

I'd like to see one of these micro cameras take higher res images, though. 640x480 is a little useless. 1280x1024 makes for a better image and you might actually be able to use it outside of the web.

The other features make it better though. The time lapse function and audio are a nice touch.

If they can fit a 1MP camera in my phone (Sharp GX30), they should be able to fit it in there, it'd just cost a lot more :(

    For you:

I saw this camera about a week ago...Pretty neat but if you had it out and someone said "Hey, can I have a light?" you would look pretty dumb saying "Um, no....it's a camera."

These things have been around for ages, and there are several 'lighter' cameras on the market. Maby some are better than others quality wise.

    From the specs:
I'm sure we don't need their software anyway, but it's ironic since Bond would obviously be using a Thirtieth Anniversary Mac.

Obviously, but we can't have the general public knowing about (or worse, using) the 'real' software, now can we? Best just give them the weenie PC version - Official Secrets Act and all that.

Given the health kick, bands against smoking and problems with such things on airlines, I think the camera phone has pretty much put such things to death. Now if they would only put a 2-3 megapixel camera in a bluetooth enabled watch with at least 128 meg of memory, that synchs with ical and addressbook, records voice messages, and maybe even has GPS, I might start wearing a watch again after some 16 years...

Pretty sweet, but if it were true James Bond, it could also light things, or be used as a portable flame thrower:)

The camera is a good start...

Isn't there also a 'lighter' that's really a USB flash drive? You flip open the top to reveal the USB plug.

actually, I'd imagine it would have a "laser"

having it a little more expensive for higher quality should at least be an option.

While I liked many of the Bond girls, I am partial to Honor Blackmon who played, "***** Galore". The character that she played was cool and was in some ways equal to ole 007.

One of my favorite lines goes something like this. Bond is waking up and sees her and asks who she is. She says that she is ***** Galore. Bond says something to the effect of I've died and gone to heaven. Fun scene.

Edit. Looks like the word police won't allow me to state her name. In the movie it is Bussy (with a P) Galore.

What I want is their green laser that you can actually see the beam in the air.
