I just went to pair my Apple remote with my 13' Retina Macbook pro and I don't see the option to disable pairing of remotes in my System Preferences. See screen shot. Am I missing something?

Hi VAUROS,

The rMBPs, I believe, do not have IR, so the IR Apple Remote cannot be paired with a rMBP.

If the OP wants to be sure it has or does not have IR you can check in System Information, mine is under the USB section under a hub.
