    Greetings.

Couple of things. I've just started playing and have no reference from previous updates. Does anyone have any idea how long it takes for AA to be ported to the newest version (v2.2)?

I'm running into a lot of Mac plyrs (since we're all on the few reamining 2.1 servers), does anyone have any info on Mac clans / communities?

I was getting the feeling they were uninterested in updating the Mac version of AA, but I haven't heard any confirmation of this.

I've heard little news as far as AA goes on the Mac. My best answer: "When it's done."

Fastest was a simultaneous release. The next fastest was a day or two off. Then the next fastest was a week or so off.

    Bad News ...

    Hi there,

have a look at the mac forums on the americasarmy.com server. There a many discussions about V2.2.1, as it seems, it wont be out too soon :(

They are not allowed to use the gamespy SDK for the mac-port anymore.

I think there will be a major delay for this version ...

    Cheers,

    Andreas

No prob, but there are no 2.1 servers left

    Back again,

the main problem isn't the delay, I don't really need a new version of AA:SFAS, but the army moved ALL OFFICIAL SERVERS to 2.2.1

So Mac users will still be able to play AA on a few unoffical servers, but won't get any honor for their efforts.

    Why that!?

You sure they're not allowed to use the GameSpy SDK anymore? Maybe their license is up?

Because I can think of a few games that use GameSpy for finding servers.

    not allowed ...

And, by the way, my english isn't perfect, so i just used "not allowed" for "don't have a valid license", anyway, it's just the same, at least for the moment ...

    Sorry about the confusion

It's okay. I assumed as much. Well, it's only a delay for now...
