Anchovies? Anyone?

    I was thinking...pizza places carry anchovies as a topping...
    But, never have I ever known anyone that acutally gets anchovies on their pizza. Never.

    But, for pizza places to carry them, someone must be getting anchovies on their pizza.

    So who does? :confused:

    ....Good point. Somebody must... I know Hobbes does (of Bill Waterson fame). :D

    I actually know alot of people who like them. I've had individual grilled anchovies before...pretty high quality ones supposedly and I must admit they wern't too bad.

    Don't forget anchovies in olive oil.
    Eat them with some sticky rice and it's very nice addition to an Asian meal.

    Anchovies pizza is great. It's just a concentrated tomato sauce and anchovies.

    I love anchovies. I have occasionally gotten odd looks when I order a pizza with only anchovies and black olives.

    I also eat anchovies with Korean and Japanese food or even by themselves.

    I actually really like them. I know everyone has their own likes and dislikes, but I don't understand why they've developed such an unpopular reputation.

    I like em. Particularly when they're fresh marinated ones rather than tinned/jarred ones.

    Having said that, I'll only have them on a pizza if they are there as part of the pizza - Capricciosa. I don't think I'd add them as a separate topping just to have them.
