Android LTE devices on Verizon can do simultaneous voice/data, but iPhone 5 cannot

    no surprise. It's been like that with the previous iPhone iterations as well.

    Yep, The problem is due to Apple choosing not to include the chip that enables this functionality.

    I have lost track of the times I used to fire up Yelp/other app on my phone to look something up while talking with someone. This is a real world need and Apple failed big time on this.

    So much for their "functionality, not specs" argument. IOS and Apple phones imho have worse UI/UX than Android 4.0+
